Tow Truck In The Road
Rüpel drag car into the middle of the road in Soest – tow truck service brings it back again.
Soest – A silver VW Polo has been the star of the Hiddingser Weg for weeks. The car stands there – in a curve of all places – and doesn’t appear to have a driver or owner.
Meanwhile, rioters have been tampering with the car and have already stolen hubcaps, license plates and fuel caps. The residents have turned to the public order office with the request to withdraw the Polo from circulation. But they only received the answer: it does nothing and “does not endanger traffic”.

But that’s exactly what he did on Thursday night. But the blame must not be put on the Polo’s rubber shoes. Rather, according to the police report, it seems that the half-men had nothing better to do than to get off the small car shortly after midnight and drag it into the middle of the road.
According to a local resident, the residents heard the loud shouting of the powerful night owls and called the police. And at first glance, the police actually understood what was going on and ordered the tow truck, after the public order office had already put the red card for the owner on the car in the past few days.
The tow truck came, saw and actually loaded the “star” of the road, put him in chains and drove off. About five meters. Now the Polo is back on the side of the road.
Tow truck must be towed away.
Two cars are lying in the ditch and have to be pulled out. A slippery road in Baden-Württemberg, however, makes a tow-away vehicle itself slip.
A tow truck slipped into two cars on a road in the Calw district of Baden-Württemberg, which it was supposed to pull out of the ditch. Then another tow truck had to come – with snow chains.
Early on Sunday morning the two cars had started to roll on the slippery road, according to the police. There were summer tyres on one car. Both cars remained between Vollmaringen and Igelshausen near Nagold lying crosswise – half on the road, half in the ditch.
But even for the requested tow truck there was no stopping on the steep road: Despite the handbrake being applied, he slipped into the cars and stood across the entire lane. Another tow truck was called. It was equipped with snow chains and could free all three vehicles.
From tow trucks to identity card control.
Perhaps the most important, not sporting question:
The approximately 13 kilometre long advertising caravan of the tour, the large escort vehicle with around 300 vehicles and the almost 200 strong drivers will enter Büderich via Niederlöricker Straße and turn into Dorfstraße at “Landsknecht”. At the Mauritius Church, the race track continues via Düsseldorfer Straße, Deutsche Eck and Neusser Straße to Neuss. The racetrack itself is completely closed to traffic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 2 July and for safety reasons is prohibited from parking on both sides. The same applies to the planned alternative route for through traffic, which runs through Büderich via Kanzlei, Hohegrabenweg, In der Meer, Karl-Arnold-Straße and Römerstraße. The parking prohibition is valid in both sections from Saturday, 1 July, 2 pm. Wrong parkers must be towed away starting from this time gradually. In the core area of the Dorfstraße, which is secured on both sides with drainage grids between Brühler Weg and Düsseldorfer Straße, three pedestrian locks will be installed: at the junction of Feldstraße, at the pedestrian traffic light in front of the Mauritius School and at the junction of Theodor-Hellmich-Straße. Apart from that, it is not possible to cross the street here, with the exception of rescue vehicles.
The closure of the other affected roads will also begin at 8 a.m. and will probably last – including a time reserve for dismantling the beacons and signs – until at least 4 p.m. The following roads will be completely closed during this period: Apelter Weg, Kantstraße, Hegelstraße, Lettweg, Rheinfeldweg, Grabenstraße, Am Feldbrand, An den Rheinauen and the Mönchenwerth access road. Around 150 “tour helpers” secure the route. In addition, there are eight roadblocks in front of the track for car traffic on roads that lead directly to the race track. Important: Only residents who have to identify themselves at the track marshals are allowed to pass through. Only exhibitors and restaurateurs taking part in the “TourTag” on Dr.-Franz-Schütz-Platz and nursing services receive transit permits.
